In a well-ventilated area, place the mailbox on a drop cloth or large piece of cardboard.

Read the can label for proper application and safety instructions prior to spray painting.

Ensure the mailbox is clean, dull, and dry. Spray with Krylon® Chalky Finish in Anvil Gray. Use 1-2 coats to achieve the pictured look.

Allow to dry completely.

Meanwhile, lay the house numbers on a drop cloth or piece of cardboard (make sure the overspray is dry from the mailbox if you are using the same drop cloth/cardboard).
Step 6
Ensure the house numbers are clean, dull, and dry. Spray the house numbers in Krylon® Premium Metallic 18 Kt. Gold. Use 1-2 coats to achieve the pictured look.
Step 7
Allow to dry completely.
Step 8
Once the mailbox and house numbers are fully dry, use adhesive to glue the house numbers to the mailbox.
Step 9
Allow the adhesive to fully dry, and then mount the mailbox to your home’s exterior wall by following the mailbox manufacturer’s instructions.
