1) Either place the backer board flat on the ground or prop against an object so that it is upright. The points of the tacks should be facing you.
2) Begin painting at the top of the backer board, holding the can of Gloss Sunbeam 6-8 inches from the surface, and paint using a sweeping side-to-side motion with slight overlap.
3) Allow paint to dry for 30-60 seconds.
4) Continue to apply light, multiple coats, waiting 30-60 seconds between each, until you are satisfied with the appearance.
Note: We painted the entire backer board a single color. You can create a design using painters tape or stencils to create more visual drama.
