In a well-ventilated space, cover a flat surface with a drop cloth or tarp.

Before starting, read the Krylon labels for safety, application, and dry time instructions.
Step 3
Place old chairs on the covered surface.
Step 4
If your chairs are already upholstered, cover the fabric with painter's tape to protect from overspray or if possible, remove the upholstery before spray painting.
Step 5
Spray paint the chairs using Krylon® COLORmaxx™ in Gloss Gum Drop.
Step 6
Note: Shake can until ball inside begins to rattle, then shake for an additional two minutes. Hold can 8”-10” from the surface, spray in a sweeping motion, side-to-side with a slight overlap.
Step 7
Dries to touch in 20 minutes or less. Dries to handle in 1 hour. Recoat within 6 hours or after 24 hours.
Step 8
Allow chairs 1 hour to fully dry.
Step 9
Add upholstery in a complementary color or pattern to the seat of the chair.
Step 10
