In a well-ventilated space, cover a flat surface with a drop cloth or tarp.
Step 2
Before starting, read the Krylon® labels for safety, application, and dry time instructions.
Step 3
In a separate area from where you will paint, ensure the surface of the croquet mallets and balls are clean, dull, and dry. Use medium grit sandpaper to remove any uneven surface if necessary and then wipe clean of any debris.
STICKS

Use painter's tape to cover the very top and very bottom of the mallet. In addition, tape off two stripes, one on each end of the head.

Step 3
Once the mallet is dry to the touch, remove the painter's tape.
Step 4
Once the mallet is fully dry, tape around the bare spots previously covered with painter's tape to avoid overspray.
