In a well-ventilated space, cover a flat surface with a drop cloth or tarp.
Step 2
Before starting, read the Krylon labels for safety, application, and dry time instructions.
Step 3
Separate each planter from its stand and set each piece on the covered surface. Make sure to leave enough room between the items to avoid overspray of the colors.
Step 4
Spray paint the three planters using Chalkboard Paint in Black. Although Krylon Chalkboard Paint is dry to the touch after 15 minutes, allow to dry 3 hours before handling and 24 hours before first use.
Step 5
Next, spray paint the three stands using Fusion All-In-One. Spray paint one of the stands with Satin Rolling Surf and the other two in Matte Sweet Fig. Allow to dry.
Step 6
After 24 hours of allowing Krylon Chalkboard Paint to dry, rub the surface of the planters with the side of a piece of chalk and then erase it before writing on the surface.
Step 7
Once all pieces are dry, place the planters on the stands.
Step 8
Use chalk to create desired design on planters.
Step 9
Fill with soil and your favorite plant!
