Wrap ties around the headed band, starting with one in the middle, then adding the same
amount to each side for a symmetrical view. For this project we used 13 on either side for a
total of 27 ties.
Step 2
For extra security add a dot of glue to each of the cable ties.
Step 3
Glue the ties on each end of the tiara to secure their positioning.
Step 4
Using a marker, mark all the points along the ties which you wish to cut. For variation cut the ties into lengths of 6”, 7”, and 9” leaving the ends pointed.
Step 5
Spray both sides of the tiara in a side-to-side motion with 2 coats of Metallic Gold Leaf.
Step 6
Then, spray an assortment of acrylic gemstones in a side-to-side motion with 2 coats of Glitter Blast Silver Flash.
Step 7
Once everything has dried, use the glue gun to attach gemstones to the tiara.
Step 8
You are now ready to wear your one-of-a-kind tiara which has just a little bit of zip to it!
