All paint should be used according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Cover spray paint area with newspaper or drop cloth to protect against overspray.
Remove glass and backing from frame.
Using painter’s tape, mask off stems of pumpkins.
Coat the following items with Krylon® COLORmaxx™ Gloss Black paint: 1. Frame 2. Candelabra 3. Two Pumpkins
Coat two pumpkins with Krylon® COLORmaxx™ Dover White spray paint.
Let paint dry completely.
Remove painter’s tape.
Clean both sides of glass well.
Coat back side of glass with several light coats of Krylon® Looking Glass Mirror Like spray paint.
Recoat glass with Krylon® Looking Glass Mirror Like spray paint until you can see the mirror-like effect on the front side of the glass, as necessary.
Spritz water from spray bottle on the corners of the painted finish.
Use sea sponge to dab and very lightly rub spray paint, removing some of the finish.
Assemble frame, glass and backing, and hang on wall.
Place candelabra and pumpkins on table or shelf in front of frame.
Stretch wisps of faux spider webs on corners of frame, candelabra and pumpkins, connecting all of these items together with pieces of web.
Place spiders randomly around your display.
